A Ghost Named Joe by Kelly Young

A delightful start to the Haunted and Harassed Paranormal Mysteries! This short story is a quick and fun read, introducing the series main characters Carmen and Bass, who are visited by the former owner of their house. Joe is not keen on their renovations to his old home, but what irks Carmen and her husband even more is the fact that he’s dead and shows up whenever he feels like it.

The only way to get rid of Joe and get some privacy is to find the missing object Joe has left behind and to give it to his son. The problem is, Joe doesn’t remember what the item is or where he hid it. 

If you are looking for a paranormal cozy mystery series, this one fits the bill perfectly. It makes for a nice, light read with a touch of humour. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
